Started to play around with My sites in Sharepoint 2013 and must say the news feed hub really looks amazing. A nice little central place for easy access to everything.
When I choose to follow my puslishing site (its a local intranet using the default publishing site template) my status is updated on the "newsfeed" site saying that I'm following it so that seems to be ok.
However when I try to add page under the "news" section on the publishing site nothing happens on my newsfeed site. Is that "by design" or am I missing something? What is the "Follow" function used for on sites? I was hoping to get a title and maybe some text on my news feed linking to the new page that was created on the site I am following.
Updates works just fine when its people I'm following.
