Everyday we send out an email message to all of our teachers asking for the day's lunch count. In the past they have replied to the message and included the count where we then have to manually tally the results. We are using Office 2010 Professional and SharePoint 2010. After looking at all the options, we think using a SharePoint Survey is the quickest way to gather and compile the results. The plan is to daily change the two survey questions to the day's lunch choice and send an email with a link to the survey. After all of the teachers have responded, we will export the results to an Excel file and auto sum the columns.
My only issue is having to delete the responses one-by-one each day. Is there a way to mass delete all of the survey questions so we can start fresh each day? I've seen one response that suggests saving it as a template and creating a new survey based on the template but I think that will be too time intensive for our office staff.
I'm open to other suggestions on how we can do this task more efficiently.
