Lotus Note Synchronization with SharePoint site

Hi All,

I am a SharePoint administrator for my firm , my company is using Lotus note as a email server(which is from IBM) and company's intranet portal is in SharePoint 2010, in the portal they have a list where they keep updating about upcoming meetings and events.

So the question is whenever they book a meeting using calendar in Lotus Note, they need to go to the sharepoint site and update the list that we will have this meeting in future.

So can we synchronize Lotus Note and SharePoint site , so that whenever we book a meeting in calendar in Lotus Note, site should already get updated.

First thought came in my mind that, may be it wont be possible because Lotus Note is from IBM and SharePoint  is from Microsoft.  Let  me know if i am wrong.
