Hi all,
I am using Sharepoint 2013 and have Office 2007 installed on my machine with Windows 7 32bit OS. I am trying to create a new document but get the following error:
'New Document' requires a Microsoft SharePoint Foundation-compatableapplication and web browser
I have tried this using Office 2010 and it works fine with no issues.
I have fixed the OWSSUPP.DLL fault which was preventing me from uploading Word docs and that works with no issues.
I have the Sharepoint Open Documents Add-in Disabled when getting this error.
If I enable the Sharepoint Open Documents Add-in I get "Page cannot be displayed" when trying to open a new document.
I have trawlled through the various forums and can't find any answers apart from the OWSSUPP.DLL fix which I have already carried out.
Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is working in Office 2010 and not in Office 2007. This is obviously an Office issue, but how do I fix it. Upgrading my users to Office 2010 isNOT an option.
Many thanks in advance.
Louise.
