SharePoint error when accessing subsites on a mobile device.

I was delving into SharePoint 2013 at work and when I tried to access the sub-site I created, on a mobile device (Yarvik Xenta 10" running Android Jelly Bean 4.1) I keep getting this error message:

"Incorrect function. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070001)"

Also, if I try and change the view from mobile view to PC view I am left with a "401 Unauthorized" message.

The current SharePoint site is hosted locally on a virtual server and I am an administrator to the site.
