Copying bulleted lists from Word to Sharepoint 2013

Hi all, 

I'm looking at Sharepoint 2013 and its ability to just drop copied content into the editor with no formatting. This seemed to work great with everything except for bulleted lists, which it displayed as unicode characters and strange spacing. Any tips on how to get bullets (from Word 2013) to copy to SharePoint 2013 while keeping the <ul><li> formatting?
