We are setting up a SP13 farm and will have document libraries, sites for different depts of our company. Users will go into their own sites to create and edit their documents.
We have hundreds of company forms in word template format (eg: expenses claims, sickness etc). We would like to place these templates in one location for maintenance.
When a users are in their own site and location (eg: finance->sales->cars) they should be able to click 'New' to open up a list of choices which would be taken from the templates list (eg: New->Expenses->milaege claim). The template would open and users fill in the form and save it in their current location (eg: finance->sales->cars).
Is this possible in SP2013 and how would we go about implementing this?
