Multi-tenancy on SharePoint Foundation 2013

Hopefully this is a simple one.

I'm curious about the licensing around multi-tenancy and SharePoint Foundation 2013. Are the any special considerations? Are any licences necessary? I've done a fair bit of searching and not found anything concrete on this.

I did find two links that discuss multi-tenancy in Foundation environments and no-one has batted an eyelid, so I was inclined to think that it's okay. (http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointadminprevious/thread/fc954e03-ce8e-4e7a-9788-5902c15de7b0http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointadminprevious/thread/ceeef21d-12a7-413b-bf0a-f88a305a428e/)

That said, I've had a Dell 'Microsoft Licensing Specialist' tell me that it's not allowed under Foundation, and someone from the 'Microsoft Licensing Hotline Australia and New Zealand' tell me that 'unfortunately Sharepoint foundation does not have this functionality'. Whether the Microsoft person was trying to say it was technically not possible or not possible from a licencing perspective; I'm not sure, and am enquiring.

Any help or advice is much appreciated, cheers everyone.
