Does anyone know the best image resolution setting Sharepoint will allow? I am trying to import logo's to the correct size for the Promoted list's app so that the logo is centered in the large thumbnail. If I go to big in width/height the image"overshoots" the edges of the app.
My problem is that we are importing images at the standard 72dpi settings for the web and they are looking very pixel-ated on the screen. We have looked at this on a low-res PC screen and a high-res MAC screen and they look the same. We have tried .jpg and .png files.
Does anyone know if I bring in higher resolution images say 200dpi, if Sharepoint automatically reduces this to 72dpi? I could not find an answer anywhere else.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
