Document Library Auto fill date column with calculated value

Hi,

I couldn't find a forum for SharePoint Online so I am posting this on SharePoint 2013 which is closest to SharePoint online I think.

So I am working on SharePoint Online document library and I have a date column in this library. I have assigned a default calculated value to this column as =Today+(3*365)

But when I upload a file to this library this value is not auto populated.

Same thing works if I do it for a custom list but doesn't work for document library.

Am I doing something wrong?
