Office Web Apps 2013 Error when opening document from Sharepoint 2013

I have setup SharePoint 2013 and Office Web Apps Server 2013 on two different servers which all meet the system requirements. I have setup the OWA server to allow for HTTP in my test environment and I have created the binding on the SharePoint server to reach the OWA server (which it does just fine). I have verified the SPWOPIZone as well as other parameters and all looks good.

The problem is that when I go to click on an uploaded Word document or even try to create a new document while within SharePoint, it tries to load OWA and almost gets there, but then throws an error message, "There's a configuration problem preventing us from getting your document. If possible, try opening this document in Microsoft Word."

Any ideas?
