I have a client iOS application that interacts with a sharepoint site.Once i do the authentication ireuse the cookies.Cookies are session only and have no expiry date set.At one point of time the page doesn't load. After that when i kill the application and restart it I am getting my account locked. Why is this happening?
I am sure that no where I am passing the wrong credentials. This happens for all the users who have used the application.Since i have no previous experience in SharePoint i have a lot of doubts regarding why this issue might happen.I have listed them as follows
-How long does the session-only cookies last ?Is the lockout happening because the cookies are expired?
-name:"WSS_KeepSessionAuthenticated" value:"{237fb101-e383-40fe-8b67-d1fd404c0973}" .I believe this is the header in the cookie which keeps me authenticated.Does this have a timeout value??Would this be the reason?
-What would be the possible causes of an account lock out other than passing wrong credentials?
It would be great if someone can help me out here.
Thanks
