There is an issue for the SharePoint Excel Service.
We have a requirement to share Excel document in the site. We don't have Office Web Apps installed. So I understand Co- Authoring at the same time and view an immediate update will not work.
We have got it working with out office web apps to open shared excel document using two different user at the same time who has access to the site and all permissions.
By clicking enable editing int eh excel document was working fine.
Excel Services is running fine without any issue as it opens the document in the browser using excel services.
After 15 Feb 2016 we found the issue sharing excel document. and also when click from the SharePoint browser window 'Open In Excel' or open shared document we get below error message and its just keeps running.
I am not sure but is it something related to Windows Update?
Any solution? This is an urgent requirement.
