Hi All, not sure if this is the right place to post or not (first time user)...
I am having issues getting my "Send To" connection to work when sending to a records center site collection that uses hosted headers. I am currently trying to configure on my dev single server box, but will also need to set up on my 2 server production environment (1 application server + 2 web-front-end servers).
The strange thing is, if I use a send to connection that points to a standard site collection (ie http://servername/sites/sitecollectionname/subsite/_vti_bin/officialfile.asmx) it works, but when pointing to the hosted header named site collection (eg: http://sitecollectionurl.company.com/_vti_bin/officialfile.asmx) it doesn't work and just tells me the site collection is not properly configured, despite following all steps in configuring records centre. Is there something I have considered when pointing a Send To connection to a site collection that uses hosted header names?
