We're having an issue with our SharePoint 2013 Enterprise Edition when trying to create a new Word document from a document library. Some users are getting the following error message:
'New Document' requires a Microsoft SharePoint Foundation-compatible application and web browser. To add a document to this document library, click the 'Upload Document' button.
The user is using IE 11 and has Word 2013 installed to their machine. I have Word 2010 and same version of IE, but have no issues. Other users with Word 2010 are also experiencing the same error.
Any suggestions where to start troubleshooting?
