Let’s say you add a site column (of the choice type) to a list, this column will look exactly the same as a choice column added directly to the list. Is there a way to recognize which column (site or list) is being used in a list?
It is important to know because if you update the site column directly in the list and later on somebody will update the site column, your changes will be overwritten.
