sharepoint 2010 search File Share

Hi All,

          I am currently deploying a search application with sharepoint 2010.

Currently I have 6 accounts (standard domain accts)-  admin/farm/sqldb/userprofile/mysite/search, with userprofile having replicate directory changes (for getting users from AD).

When creating search service application I am using the search account (for search service account , spfarm for the next two sections in that application

creation page).

Then I add my file share to the content source, start a full crawl, and it starts the process, but results crawled are ZERO (nothing)

What level of permission should be given to which account for this purpose of file share crawl, is what I dont understand.

Any help appreciated.
