When I go to Site settings -> Term Store Management in a site collection, I get this error:
But I can view the term store just fine in central admin. I have already checked permissions and done an IISreset but the error persists. I tried deleting and recreating the Service Application.
We use a Web Front End and an Application Server. Trust level is set to full in the web app config.
The ULS logs give this message:
