Ok, we have sucesfully imported pictures from AD to Sharepoint 2013 in near past and to tell you the truth we have forgot about it how we have done it.
And when time passes by, one day we have noticed that "newly created users" pictures are not showing. Their pictures are not shown in SharePoint 2013 / about me page (my site).
So today we ran this powershell command:
Update-SPProfilePhotoStore -CreateThumbnailsForImportedPhotos 1 -MySiteHostLocation "http://sharepointFQDN:12345"
but no changes :(
We thought this updating Picture is automatically with user profile sync service but I guess not. Like I said we have forgotten how it was configurated in the past.
Any hints where to look for why pics are not showing in SharePoint 2013 especially for newly employees?
