How to hide standard ECB on Office 365 (Share Point online) for a SharePoint hosted App?

Hallo,

I have a problem to deal with ECB in SharePoint online by SharePoint hosted app. I want to hide some standard menu items e.g. "Publish", "Compliance Details", etc.

But it seems difficult to use the solution from on-premise, http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc768565%28v=office.12%29.aspx

because it needs to save the "customcore.js" in "\Template\layouts\1033".

It may be possible to override function in "core.js" like this.

But Microsoft updates Office 365 sometimes. e.g. I have overriden "AddDocLibMenuItems", but now it changes. My app doesn't work anymore.

How can I hide it with the best way? Thanks very much!
