Hi,
We have a client program that creates host name site collections in SharePoint 2013. We only created Collaborative Site Collections.
Now, we want to enhance our code to accommodate the creation of My Sites in SharePoint 2013. Regarding creation of My Sites for HNSCs, gone through several sites but the answers provided were not understandable.
Our Requirement:
1) One Web Application created for My Sites (as recommended by MS).
2) Creating a HNSC for a customerA as http://CustomerA.example.test/ under the Web Application created, through our client program. (Already achieved)
3) Creation of My Sites under the site collection created above through our code (For this suggestion is required)
For Step3 is anything required to be configured at the web application level?
Can multiple HNSCs be created under the same Web Application for hosting My Sites.
Please suggest.
