Outlook and SP Sync

 I was wondering if you know how accurate the updates between Outlook and SP are – I was able to sync the SP Calender to my Outlook but when I update my attendees in Outlook, the changes do not seem to reflect in SP (Adding or Removing attendees). Is this a known issue? Is there a work around?
