I've been doing some testing with breaching site quotas - wierd results
For one thing I can always upload a file that breaches the threshold - but I only sometimes I get the message
"Your changes could not be saved because this SharePoint Web site has exceeded the storage quota limit.
You must save your work to another location. Contact your administrator to change the quota limits for the Web site."
Sometimes I don't - and in both cases I can always upload the file and enumsites shows my sites with storage values above the thresholds. When I try to upload another file, if I didn't get the message when crossing the threshold first time I do then get it.
So what's going on under the hood? Why am I allowed to exceed the threshold? Why do I sometimes not get the message?
