We have a few boxes that have the dreaded C:\Documents and Settings\Default User\Local Settings\Temp\wss_adminservice.log file taking up space. I've searched the web and found a couple workarounds;
1) Mark the file as 'READ-ONLY'
2) have a script delete the file periodically.
Although both are acceptable workarounds. I would like to understand 'what' creates the file and just turn it off. I'm fairly new to the MOSS environment, so I'm not sure which magic checkbox or stsadm command would turn it off, if there is one. :)
If anyone can help provide us a fix, that would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve
