SharePoint 365 Calendar and Outlook sync

Hi,

When syncing a 365 SharePoint calendar with outlook, I can drag items from my calendar to the SharePoint calendar. This then creates a copy of the event I drug over to the SharePoint calendar, so I get reminders via lync twice.

Do you know how to drag over items from my calendar to the Sharepoint calendar so that it doesn’t send reminders twice (so they don't show up as "Copies" on the SharePoint calendar)? i.e. make items shows up on the SharePoint calendar without reminding me that it is on that calendar too.

Also, it doesn't send duplicate reminders if it is only an outlook appointment(no To field), but does if it is a meeting(having the To field).
