Workflow Task Process Action

I have two questions about the Task Process Action.

1. Is there a way to set the task process to email the user who initiated the task (like the 2010 approval workflow), or do I have to just add a Email action to notify them.

2. When I cancel a workflow that uses a Task Process it leaves any unfinished task running. Is there a way to set it to cancel all open task, or maybe define a cancel step in the workflow?
