Thank You Cameron!
I get what you are saying for the most part but ....
I need a solution that allows for more natural search (more google ish? maybe?)
i.e. all my techs will put in different search terms and standarization will be a huge
challenge (as far as search entries) so I am hoping for advanced search engine capabilities
within SP2010
and
If a tech places a search within SP like "db error for application x"
Can we get a return that prioritizes? i.e. which resolution is used
most or repairs highest percentage of times? or do we need to put in the suggested priorities.
I guess I keep thinking SP can help with troubleshootig workflow... is that to much to
ask from SP?
how do i get the most out of SP2010? free version? maybe free templates or add-ons?
for a managd service helpdesk that services a wide variety of small to large networks
