Hi,
I'm a brand new user to Sharepoint 2013 and was trying to use the new 2013 feature "AD Import".
I pretty much followed every guide and I still can't get it to work.
The user I created the application and the connection with is a Farm Admin and it belongs to our internal domain.
I created the service app as a "User Profile Service Application", granted the replication permissions for the user on the AD and ran the application. It succeeds with a 1 or 2 second span (only importing 3 users to try) but it never imports anything.
I tried enabling diagnostic and usage logging for the "User profile service sync" but it never writes the log, just a .tmp and a .usage file so I'm guessing it isn't throwing any errors.
The 3 DB'S still get created (default Profile DB, Sync DB and Social DB) and the mappings show up at the "ADImportDCMappingOUs" table, but still no profile imported.
I didn't map any attributes in the "Manage User properties" since I don't need any additional fields.
I resorted to the forums since I feel I'm looking for a needle on a haystack since I'm positive it must be some "little" thing that is not correct.
Can someone help me please?
