User Profile LMT Re-population Job fails occasionally

Hi,

I am running SharePoint 2013 and the User Profile LMT Repopulation job fails whenever I restart the server and sometimes like once a day or in two. Can anyone help me understand why is it happening. It is actually production server having H/w configuration as 16GB RAM and 8 Processors. I even donot see this as a memory issue because the memory utilization is below 50%.
