I have installed Office 365 and set up some Document Libraries that I want to sync to my team member's machines. So far I have 4 Document Libraries, two of which are around 1.5GB each with about 4000 files each. I'm having lots of problems syncing them to my machine - e.g. my Office Document Cache seems to die once every two days and need to be rebuilt, e.g. MSOSYNC.EXE runs at 25-50% CPU at all times for days, e.g. when I was adding files to my local sync folder it would die if I added more than a couple of hundred files at a time, but seemed ok when I added the files slowly.
I'd like to know if I should expect Sharepoint to be capable of syncing folders of these sizes. Will it play nicely on my colleagues' machines or will it eat their CPU and regularly need to rebuild the cache file? Will it cause performance problems when saving Office docs in these folders or should any such problems be surmountable?
thanks!
