I have installed and configured Office Web Apps Server 2013 and SharePoint 2013. Everything works fine expect of the new document link at document library views.

The WAC is configured for read only and at site collection level I have activated "OpenInClient" feature. The expected behaviour should be that a new document will be open in client application. The actual behaviour is that a new document is placed into the library and the WAC tries to the new file in edit mode. How can I change / influence the behaviour, or is this just a bug?
What I did so far is:
- Activate “OpenInClient” feature
- Change the Library settings “Opening Documents in the Browser” to “Open in the client application”
- Add edit and editnew action of all extensions to WOPI Suppression Settings with New-SPWOPISuppressionSetting
- Remove all edit and editnew WOPI Bindings
