Content Search Webpart in Sharepoint 2013

Hi,

Scenario:In Home page of my website I want to display only Employee's  Today's birthday in a webpart.

For example:Today is (person name)'s birthday!!..

For this requirement can i use content search webpart in sharepoint 2013??

Can anyone plz clearly explain about content search webpart and for the above scenario how can we do without using coding..
