SharePoint Timer Job definiton not visible in Cental Administration

Hi All,

We are having the following issue in SharePoint 2013.

Timer job definition is not visible in Central admin site.

We tried the fix as suggested in http://sadomovalex.blogspot.in/2013/02/custom-sharepoint-jobs-are-not-shown-in.html

We started the Central Admin role on WFE and accessed the central admin on the front end server and we were able to see the timer job.

Root cause as posted in the blog is

"Custom timer job code deployed through solution will be deployed to WFE servers but not to CA server as WFE role is not enabled in CA server. In this case when you open Central Administration > Monitoring > Review job definitions, it sees custom jobs, but it can’t find the type where job’s code is defined and can’t desterilize it for executing as required DLL are not present in CA server. Due to this, it can’t display custom jobs."

Please let us know if there is any other way of avoding option of switching on central admin on front end servers to view the timer job definitions.

We also do not want to switch on front end role in any of the central admin.

Regards,

Pruthvi
