SharePoint multi file browse control on application page

Hi, we have create an application page and using asp.net file browse control, but the problem is that it doesnt allow multiple file selection in IE9, but in IE10 it works fine. This seems to be a know issue

However i wanted to know is there any way we can use SharePoint file browse control on an application page to select multiple file and upload in document library??
