I am in Sharepoint 2013.
I am having an issue within a document library. Several content types share a column that is a custom lookup multi-select. I have aligned several documents with values from this column days ago. The values should have been crawled by now as our crawl schedule is an incremental crawl every 12 hours and a full crawl every 24 hours.
In the unfiltered view into the library I can see the document and the column does show the value I selected days ago. When I go to filter the library on that column it even displays the value the document is aligned against. Once I select to apply the filter on that value the library says, "There are no files in the view "All Items."
Why won't it find any documents even though they're obviously in the library with the metadata aligned against them? I expect it's either a crawl error or a setting that I need to configure, or this type of column is not able to be filtered. I don't expect it's the last option.
