I have found no way of changing the view used by the Document Set Contents webpart. It just uses the default view from the library in which the document set resides. In 2010 I was able to create a view and apply it to that specific webpart on the welcome page but I can find no such setting in 2013. Am I just looking in the wrong place or am I limited to only displaying the name, modified, and modified by columns within a document set welcome page?
