We have a couple of SharePoint 2013 environments, both on Windows Server 2012 and SQL Server 2012. The Search "Global Search Center URL" and the My Site setting for "Peferred Search Center" were incorrectly set tohttp://server/sites/searchcenter -- it should behttp://server/sites/searchcenter/Pages.
Changing the URL in the Seach service application settings was simple enough. But when I try to change it in the User Profile service application "My Site Settings", it just ignores me. When I click "OK" after changing the field it goes back to the User Profile service management page (too quickly...nothing works that quicking in SharePont central admin)...and when I re-open the "My Site Settings" the value is unchanged.
Any ideas? Anybody know how to set this using PowerShell?
