Hello,
we set up a web application in Sharepoint 2013 Foundation with anonymous access enabled. We enabled both Windows (NTLM) and Forms based (aspnetdb) authentication. Forms authentication works fine but Windows authentication loses sign
in information. For instance I logged in as administrator and I get the "Welcome administrator" message in the ribbon,
but on the very next page ribbon is saying "Sign in" (and I'm not able to do anything on SP) like I'm not logged in. When I click again on sign in I'm logged in again.
I noticed several things:
1. When I turn of anonymous mode everything is fine
2. When I extend web application and one zone has windows authentication and another one has forms everything is fine
Any thoughts?
