I have a client with a single SP 2013 server running on Windows Server 2012 which is a VM with 12GB RAM. There is a separate SQL server running SQL 2012 on Server 2012 in a VM with 16GB RAM.
I'm seeing a lot of errors in the Application log from SharePoint Foundation. They are 8315 and 8318 in the Health task category and 6398 in the Timer
task category.
The first two errors are about failing and passing ping validation involving 2 SP sites.
The 6398 error says the following.
The Execute method of job definition Microsoft.Office.Server.UserProfiles.LMTRepopulationJob (ID f855ed9f-fef0-4f3d-ae36-3fc681a9e607) threw an exception. More information is included below.
Unexpected exception in FeedCacheService.IsRepopulationNeeded: Connection to the server terminated, check if the cache host(s) is running.
Any idea what is causing these and what to do about them? I am not a SharePoint administrator though I've had to learn a little about it to install it.Jonathan
