Are there any limitations in sharepoint 2013 functions features such as search if forms based authentication is configured.
We still have to choose and create/import around 8000 users in a new farm which will host one site collection with many subsites nested upto 2-4 levels.

It looks like installating sharepoint in famr mode necessararily needs AD domain so we shall have to configure AD DS. strarting with one Application/web server , SQL Server farm is it viable if we cobine SQL and AD DS on same dedicated server? or if AD DS has to be a separate server then what should be recommended configurations
