Hi,
I have a problem in SharePoint 2013 cross site publishing. I have one authoring site collection (ProductCatalogAuth) and 3 publishing sites collection (Pub1, Pub2, Pub3). I have created article pages on my authoring siteProductCatalogAuth and want share in different publishing sites Pub1, Pub2, Pub3. So I have created column (Page Category) with typeManaged Metadata and checked “Allow multiple values” and tagged those article pages with terms (HR, Finance, IT) of global term set (Department) and wanted to share my pages library as catalog.
But under Catalog Settings of pages library I can't share page library as catalog when I set “Allow multiple values” for managed metadata column Page Category, because I can't choose “Navigation Hierarchy” value to Page Category instead it shows "None").
When I don’t check “Allow multiple values” for Page Category column and just tag my page with one term (HR) everything is OK and I can share my pages library as catalog but I want to tag my article page for different publishing sites Pub1, Pub2, Pub3 and connect to catalog from that sites and use appropriate term for navigation.
Can anyone please suggest me?
