We are a university and we have a MOSS 2007 environment we are in the process of upgrading to SPS 2013, we already do My Sites for 6000 Staff members, in SPS 2013 we want certain features in My Sites like Newsfeed, editing profile and following content, people and sites but we dont want the Skydrive feature for Students.
We want everything for Staff Members but not everything for Students.
As student number is almost 35000 we dont want to give almost 3.5TB of storage to Students in MySites at 100MB quota. We want the newfeed, profile editing and vieweing, following content so almost all the social features but we dont to give skydrive to students this saves us from not wasting too much storage.
So any ideas how can this be done?
As far as I know it is not possible but still thought I should ask this question.
