Hi everyone,
We have a MySQL DB in a Linux machine which is our archive for all documents (the software is called eprints)
We are looking to move all this docs (around 9000) to SharePoint, and obviously provide basic search functionality, which at this stage I am not worry about.
My question is, what's it the best way to do this?
I was thinking on some how importing all documents and their metadata into a document library (this way search should be a piece of cake), but I am not sure if it is even possible... maybe through the back-end (probably not best practice though).
Can anybody tell me if this is achievable and what is the best way to get it done.
