RSS - ability to utilise atom page links?

Hi

I have an RSS feed which utilises facility of atom to provide "next", "previous", "first" and "last" page links when you specify how many items you want to retrieve per page. 

I'm trying to find a way to use this with either the RSS webpart or the XML webpart within Sharepoint 2013 and I'm not having much luck. 

The syntax used is as follows: 

http://domain.com/servlet/rssfeed/rssfeed?file=22_s1746.xml&resultsPerPage=3&page=1

 and the XML/RSS returned has the following links: 

<atom:link rel="self" type="application/rss+xml;charset=UTF-8" title="barack obama" href="http://domain.com/servlet/rssfeed/rssfeed?file=22_s1746.xml&amp;page=1" /><atom:link rel="first" type="application/rss+xml;charset=UTF-8" href="http://domain.com/servlet/rssfeed/rssfeed?file=22_s1746.xml&amp;page=1" /><atom:link rel="next" type="application/rss+xml;charset=UTF-8" href="http://domain.com/servlet/rssfeed/rssfeed?file=22_s1746.xml&amp;page=2" /><atom:link rel="last" type="application/rss+xml;charset=UTF-8" href="http://domain.com/servlet/rssfeed/rssfeed?file=22_s1746.xml&amp;page=4022" />

Is there any way to get sharepoint to recognise and use these links? I tried to write them into an XSL I was using but the issue I faced was that the links would lead me away from the webpart - not link to a further set of results within the same webpart.
