add 1000 documents with thesame metadata

Hello,

We made a knowledge base in our company for our internship. Now we want to add roughly 1000 document at once to see how SharePoint will react and to fill up this database.

Now we want to stresstest this by putting in old data which aren't really used or are unclassified so far. Is there a way to add a 1000 files (I guess by drag and drop) at once and add thesame tag to every document without manually opening the files and adding the metadata by hand?
