We are setting up a knowledge base for SharePoint Server 2013. But for the second part for our internship at B-inside we want to connect the progress database to display data in SharePoint 2013 in lists.
Does anybody know what's the best way to connect to a Progress database through ODBC?
I tried to do it in SharePoint Designer 2013, but I keep ending up with an error that my connection string is wrong. I tried Databaseconnection in the data sources under site objects in Designer, doesn't work for me for some reason.
Are there any other ways to connect to the progress database and dispay its data?
