SharePoint2013: How to create a product planning?

Hello everybody,

Here is my problem:

I work with a team of +/- 10 sales managers. For our company we have some demonstration products.
I would like to create something like a planning of each product, relating their characteristics and show their status on a calendar or something similar.

For example, salesmanager01 would like to book product03 for a customer demonstration from 10/05/2013 to 12/05/2013; I would like that every sales manager could see each demo product status, see the availability, etc...

It is really important to have a full description of each product with a few characteristics lines and not just a general name.

Any ideas?
