Website users with permissions to view documents are required to reenter their account log-in credentials to open any MS Office document (log-in credentials are not required to open PDF documents).
The problem only exist in Internet Explorer. Firefox does not request users to reenter account credentials. I have added the site URL to "Trusted Sites" aswell and I've checked all security setting within Internet Options.
Even as website administrator with full admin. rights, I have to enter in my account log-in credentials as well to open any Word, PowerPoint, Excel documents ext..
Also, if users hit cancell instead of entering their credentials the docuement will open anyway. User are very frustrated with having to reenter their log-in credentials and sometimes even lock their accounts with trying to open a MS document.
