We are large organization that is migrating from IIS7 non-SharePoint site, there we have about a 1000 virtual directories that is redirected to other internal and affiliated sites (URLs).
We have to keep these paths since they are published inside and outside the company, so it must stay.
The rest of the site we design from scratch, its only the Virtual Directories with redirects that is the issue.
Example: www.mycomp.com/sales redirects tohttp://sales25.mycomp.com. Should be like this on our new SP2013 also.
We can add all(1000) these paths without affecting the new SharePoint site, just not sure on the best way to do it.
We also have csv of paths and redirected url, if that makes other options available...? Doesn’t have to be migrated only.
What is the options and best processes to follow? For Automation, tools, import, migrate... (The very expensive tools are overkill for this task, so 'free' tools...)
