Are Fab 40 Templates Compatible with MOSS?

c:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\12\BIN>stsadm -o addsolution -filename "Z:\Sharepoint\Files\Fab40\ApplicationTemplateCore.wsp"

and got the following error:

I was able to successfully install this and other fab 40 templates to a vm installation running WSS 3.0, so I was wondering whether you can't run the fab 40 templates on MOSS (except I think we installed the case mgmnt one already) 

or if they are compatible, how to overcome this error.  

I thought MOSS being built on top of WSS, could run anything made for WSS alone.
